Give them something to talk about

Are pastors the only ones who should be out spreading the Gospel message. Of course not we have the responsibility as well. Sometimes we are not sure how to do such a thing but Paul gives us some ideas in 1 Thessalonians 1:8-10

8 And now the word of the Lord is ringing out from you to people everywhere, even beyond Macedonia and Achaia, for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God. We don’t need to tell them about it, 9 for they keep talking about the wonderful welcome you gave us and how you turned away from idols to serve the living and true God. 10 And they speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God’s Son from heaven—Jesus, whom God raised from the dead. He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgment.

Being hospitable, showing others how you have turned away from your idols, serving God, and looking forward to Jesus coming back again. When you do these things that quite frankly all Christians should be doing people will talk about you. As I have said in the past when you become a Christian some people will talk bad about you. That’s just the way it is, however there will also be those who will talk good about you and that is also how the Gospel message can be spread. So no matter what people will talk, so give them something to talk about. That something is how you live your life and love the LORD.
