Road Blocks

1 Thessalonians 2:18

¹⁸ We wanted very much to come to you, and I, Paul, tried again and again, but Satan prevented us.

Paul was arguably one of the greatest Christians of all time yet he was aware that Satan had the ability to prevent him from doing some of the things that he wanted to do. The Bible does not tell us what Satan did to mess up Paul, it just says it does. What’s the point you ask? The point is you need to be aware that for now Satan is alive and well and we too may not know how he does it, but he can prevent us from doing the things we should do and the things we want to do. He can put up road blocks in many places. People today need to know that Satan does exist, he does have many powers, but they also need to know that Jesus is greater. That in the end Jesus wins and you can always ask Him to come into your life and remove the road blocks.
