Matthew 5: 18 is an interesting verse it says:
18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.
Not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. What then is the purpose of God’s law? The purpose is simple to get you to realize that you are a sinner and guilty before God and that you need a Savior. It’s that simple.
