Bridges are funny things, they are hard to build, and they are sometimes the only way to a particular location. Battles have been fought where the bridge was the objective and if one side felt the tide turning they would try and destroy the bridge so the opposition could not use it. Then there is the phrase burnt bridges that is where you do something that makes it impossible to go back and make it all better. Perhaps maybe you have burnt a few in your life. I thought about going into some of the famous bridges in the world but for brevity let’s just focus on the most important bridge in the history of the world. The cross, the cross is the bridge that God built to provide a way to Him. Without the cross no one could get to Heaven, it’s a bridge that is worth fighting for and one you had better not burn. Luke 12:9 talks about those who burn that important bridge it says.
But anyone who denies me here on earth will be denied before God’s angels.
