Choose your weapon

2 Corinthians 10:3-4
3 We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

There is a war going on besides the war on terror. The other war is a spiritual war that has been going on since Satan and his demons were cast out of Hell. The war on terror and the spiritual war have something in common. The enemy usually cannot be seen, the enemy tries to blend in and look like everything else. In the spiritual war the things that look very good can actually be an ambush so we have to be very careful. In the war on terror cool things are used like drones, machine guns, tanks, jet fighters, and Tomahawk cruise missiles. In the Spiritual war we have weapons that are even more powerful. Like prayer, Gods word, faith, and the Holy Spirit. Not to mention the uniform we are to be wearing as listed in Ephesians 6:

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
So never forget there is a war going on. Don’t forget to put the uniform everyday and don’t be afraid to use the arsenal of weapons you have been given.
