The Bible is filled with promises and every once and a while it is good to look at them, Joshua 1:8 is just one of them.
5 No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.
Even though this promise was given to Joshua the same promise has been given to those who love Christ. God gave this promise to Joshua when he was possibly at the lowest point in his life just after Moses had died. So whatever you are going through no matter how low you are God has promises for you. All you have to do is trust in and love Christ. And no one will be able to stand against you and he will never fail or abandon you.
