Cindy Lou You

No I didn't misspell the title, and no this is not a Christmas blog. Read on to understand Cindy Lou You

2 Timothy 2:24

24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.

As Christians these are things we are instructed to do, not quarrel, that’s not too hard, to be kind to everyone that’s a little tougher but doable none the less. However it’s this last one that we struggle with, to be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. Now that one wow, that’s hard because difficult people are simply difficult to deal with. In reading today’s verse I was reminded of Cindy Lou Who. Who would have been more difficult to deal with than someone who was trying to steal Christmas? She is a good example of what it means to teach, and be patient with difficult people. She was never fazed and in the end sat right next to the Grinch eating roast beast. If you are able to teach, and be patient with difficult people you too could be sitting right next to them not eating roast beast, but at the great banquet table in Heaven and what a joy that would be. So instead of Cindy Lou Who. Think of Cindy Lou You.
