1 Timothy 2:5
5 For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.
The need to reconcile and the need for a mediator can only mean one thing that there are two sides that cannot come together on their own. To reconcile means there is a discrepancy and when the two sides can’t come together a mediator is the only way. Between God and man there is a huge discrepancy and its called sin and on their own there is no getting together. Until God sent a mediator and his name is Jesus. To settle the sin between God and man as this verse says there is only one who can accomplish that. Some will say there are other ways or that you can find your own way. However this tells us the truth there is only one and He's still the one, Jesus
