I’m good compared to……… what? Other people or God?
The biggest problem with good people is that they do not understand how bad they really are. It is not until a person realizes how sinful they really are that they can experience the grace of God. We all tend to say at least I’m not as bad as that other guy (especially the guy in this picture.) The truth is in fact we may be possibly worse. The “good” people of the world are in so much trouble and the scary thing is they don’t have a clue. Stop today and consider how far you are from God’s standard. Think about while here on earth there is no way you can ever achieve that standard and know the only way to gain favor with God is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Just trust him.
