Just wanted to share one of my favorite verses in the Bible.
Job 38
1 Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind: 2 “Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? 3 Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. 4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much.
This covers so many different aspects for me.
1. God's sovereignty
2. God's judgement
4. God's creativity
5. My humility
Then to stop and think what God told Satan in chapter 1. "He is is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.”
When you put all of this in perspective with where we are in life what will your reaction be if God says brace yourself?
