On Wednesday night our small group gathered for a meal in which we dubbed specialty night. The premise was that everyone was supposed to bring something that they were known for aka their specialty. The trick was that no one was supposed to coordinate with anyone else on what they were bringing so the mix that we would end up with was going to be a complete surprise. I was really looking forward to the mix of foods more that the actual food its self. It turned out to be quite a night. The meal was tabbed Meats and Sweets, there was some absolutely delicious food. I took some pictures to share.
Now that the punch and the breads are out of the way here comes the meats and the sweets. First here are some chicken enchiladas

A chicken potato casserole
Ribs complete with Cowboys sauce from Jimmy Jacks
Homemade eggnog custard, it was smooth enough you could suck it through a straw
Pralines cheesecake and there was also homemade ice cream
A night of good food, good friends, and good fellowship
