Tool time

Ask any handyman what the most important tool in their tool belt is and you would get a variety of answers. My guess however if they all stopped and thought about it long enough that the tape measure would be at the top of the list. You know the old saying measure twice and cut one. When it comes to the Christian the most important tool at their disposal is simple. It’s God’s word and 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us why.

 ¹⁶ All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. ¹⁷ God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
