All but one has fallen

We have all heard the phrase the Jesus was the only perfect person to ever walk the earth. That is true but we forget at least for a little while Adam was perfect as well. Now we don’t know how long but for a time Adam did not sin. He had a perfect communion with God. I mean they hung out together. But his run of perfectness ended when he and Eve disobeyed God and took from the tree of life. From what we are told that was the only law (rule) they had and they failed. On the other hand when Jesus came to this earth there were many laws, many temptations and he obeyed God and did not sin. Thus it is true that Jesus was the only perfect person to walk the earth. When you think that Adam only had one temptation and failed and Jesus had many and obeyed perhaps you should stop and think about what an accomplishment that was, because in the history of the world all but one has fallen. Obedience has a price that no human can afford; it’s out of our budget. They only one who could afford it was God and he bought it with the blood of His son. Adam gave us our sinful nature and Jesus gave us salvation from it. Thank you Jesus.

Romans 5:15
15 But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.
